The Hyundai Veloster is a new sport coupe from Hyundai. It is slated to compete with the Honda CR-Z Hybrid and the Mini Cooper. The little guy will crank out over 137hp and achieve up to 40mpg. You can also expect to see Hyundai's new Blue Link telematics system that acts quite like the Onstar system by GM. Hyundai has also integrated Pandora Internet radio into different trim levels as an added bonus. Be on the look out for the Veloster to start hitting dealerships in fall.

Hyundai will be unveiling the new i40 at the Geneva Auto Show next year. This vehicle was designed at the Russelsheim, Germany R&D facilty. It continues Hyundai's vision of "fluidic sculpture" design. Although it closely resembles the new 2011 Elantra it is actually based on the Sonata platform. Very little details have been released as of yet but sources indicate that the production i40 is only European bound. We are likely to see it on U.S. soil within the next few years designated as the Sonata Wagon.

September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Hyundai Hope on Wheels is at the forefront of helping children in need. Starting September 1st in Washington D.C. Hyundai paid a visit to three hospital donating $300,000 to children in need.

Throughout the month Hyundai will visit 65 more hospitals donating and average of $100,000 to each institution. By the end of 2010 Hyundai Hope of Wheels will have contributed over $23 million to Childhood cancer support since 1998.

How does Hyundai support Hope on Wheels? Hyundai does it through a couple of methods. They do traditional fundraising and allow for donation to be made but the most impressive way take place each an every day at your local dealership. During the year, Hyundai tallies up the new vehicle sales and donates a portion of the profits to help cancer research.
